Which types of vehicles are covered, and which are not?

Most private passenger vehicles—like standard cars, minivans, and SUVs—are covered. But there are a few exceptions.

Not covered

  • Expensive or exotic cars
    Examples include: Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Bentley, Corvette, Ferrari, Jaguar, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Maybach, McLaren, Porsche, Rolls Royce, and Tesla.

  • Antique vehicles
    Defined as:

    • Over 20 years old, or

    • Not manufactured in the past 10 years

  • Trucks

  • Motorcycles, mopeds, or motorbikes

  • Cargo vans or vans with open beds

  • RVs and recreational vehicles

  • Limousines

Note: Vans that seat up to 9 people (including the driver) and are designed for small-group transport are covered.
