Atlas Cash Deposits

Select users can add cash to their Atlas account. Using a barcode in the app, you can now add cash at the register of over 75,000 retail locations nationwide, including 7-Eleven®, Walgreens®, Walmart® and more.

How it works

  1. Log in to the app, navigate to the money tab, and select 'Make a cash deposit'

  2. Select a participating retailer, and generate a barcode.

  3. Show the cashier your barcode and hand over your cash (plus any applicable retail service fee).¹

  4. That's it! The cashier will complete the transaction and give you a receipt as proof.

Q: Where can I go to deposit cash using a barcode?

A: You can deposit cash to your account using a barcode at thousands of participating locations nationwide including 7-Eleven®, CVS®, Kroger®, Walgreens®, Walmart® and more. Service fee up to $4.95 and limits may apply.

Q: How much cash can I add using a barcode?

A:You can add any amount from $20 to $500 per transaction, up to 3 transactions per day. Check with your account provider for daily and monthly limits. A retail service fee up to $4.95 applies.

Q:How long does it take for funds to be available?

A:Your funds will typically be available within 15 minutes.

Q: How do I know that the funds went through?

A:Check your transaction history to confirm your transaction went through. Keep the receipt as proof of your transaction.

Q: Why didn’t my barcode work?

A:Check a few things prior to use:

  • Check the expiration time underneath your barcode. If it is expired, you will need to create a new barcode.

  • You can only generate and use one barcode at a time, so use your current barcode before trying to generate a new one.

  • You can only use up to three barcodes for the service in one day, up to daily or monthly account limits.

Q:How can I protect myself from fraud when adding cash with a barcode?

A:Remember only to use barcodes that you personally generated from your own account. Never use a barcode someone else gave you and

never share your barcode with anyone else.
