If you have funds in your Atlas deposit account, we recommend keeping them as a savings mechanism. Not only does this money act as a cushion, but it's also the most straightforward method to boost your Spending Power (credit limit).
How much do I have available to withdraw?
In most cases, you can withdraw the difference between your secured deposit and any pending balances. For instance, if your deposit account holds $100 and you have a pending balance of $50, you may see your "Available to withdraw" in the app as $50, and can request a $50 withdrawal. However, in some cases the number you see as "Available to withdraw" may not exactly match the difference between your secured deposit and any pending balances. While Atlas may have increased your credit limit, you might still be yet to see that bump reflect in "Available to withdraw" in the first couple of days after a paycheck lands or a debit card transfer is made. You are welcome to spend on the card with your higher limit in the meantime.
If you find yourself needing to withdraw funds, here are some ways to do it.
Ways to Withdraw:
On your own: In the Home tab, navigate to the Deposit Account Page, and select "Withdraw from deposit."
ATM: Learn more in our ATM article
Through support: If you're having issues withdrawing your money on your own or through an ATM, reach out to our support team.
Key Points to Remember:
Withdrawals done by our support team or initiated by you are conducted via ACH to your linked account. While it can take up to 5 business days for funds to reflect, most users see the transaction completed within 2 days.
Your credit limit will go down by the amount you withdraw (if you do it on your own or via support). For instance, if you have a spend power of $100 and you withdraw $10, your Spend Power will decrease to $90. You are also at risk of getting demoted a reward tier.
