Why is a bank statement required?

Sometimes, Atlas may ask for a full bank statement to verify your identity or confirm account details. This helps us keep your account secure.

To submit your statement:

  • Send a PDF version (screenshots or edited files won’t be accepted)

  • Upload it securely by messaging our support team in the Atlas app

Note: Sending altered documents may result in delays or account closure.

How long does the review take?

  • In-app chat: Usually reviewed within 1 business day

  • Email: May take slightly longer

Q: Why can’t I send a screenshot?

A: For security and verification, we require the full, unedited PDF of your bank statement.

Q: What happens if I send the wrong file?

A: We’ll ask you to resend the correct version, which could delay your account review.

Q: Will my account stay paused during review?

A: In most cases, yes—once we verify your statement, we’ll update you right away.
