How early pay works

Once you’ve set up direct deposit in the Atlas app, you may get your paycheck up to 2 days early — depending on when your payer sends the deposit.

What qualifies

  • Direct deposits (ACH or OCT) from employers, government benefits, or gig apps

  • Tax refunds, mobile check deposits, and transfers from apps like PayPal or Cash App do not qualify

What to expect

Early access depends on when your payer sends the payment file. Atlas usually posts the deposit the same day we receive it, which can be up to 2 days before your scheduled payday.

Once direct deposit is active, we’ll notify you as soon as your money arrives. We never hold your funds — but weekends, holidays, or delays from your payer can occasionally affect timing.
